Lessees of exempt real property
Off‑base military housing developed and operated under the Military Housing Privatization Initiative may be exempt from real property taxes if the federal land is leased to a private company specifically to develop, rehabilitate, maintain, and operate a military housing project, and the project does not use county refuse, road maintenance, or routine police, fire, and ambulance services.
